Elsa Yranzo Studio is a creative hub based in Barcelona, specialising in food design and art. We curate, produce, and mentor projects that aim to transform, inspire, and generate new connections between people and food through design, innovation, and beauty.


At TrendFEST 2023, the mission was to explore emerging sociocultural shifts and translate them into innovative colour proposals that would shape the future of product and interior design.

The challenge lay in creating a captivating experience that not only showcased colour trends but also resonated with the audience's desire for connection with nature and sustainable living.

Taking in the Forest aimed not only to tantalise taste buds but also to provoke thought and connection. It stood as a testament to our dedication to pushing culinary boundaries while aligning with broader themes of colour trends and creative expression at TrendFEST 2023.


The Challenge

Where sustainability meets culinary artistry, showcasing Earth healing trends through innovative flavours and local ingredients.

Innovative Ingredients

We sourced predominantly local ingredients from Cataluña, highlighting our dedication to sustainability. Incorporating future-forward elements such as Sorghum and adaptogens like Ashwagandha showcased our commitment to supporting local produce while embracing innovation.

Sweet Treat Concept

To redefine traditional sweet treats, we crafted a dark cake using pumpkin and sorghum flour, complemented by innovative creams like Smoked hazelnut and Black tahini yoghurt. This fusion of flavours balanced sweetness with savoury undertones, offering a unique culinary experience.

Creative Elements

Exploring the boundaries of creativity, we introduced edible dusts like Coffee and Mushroom, along with Pistachio Moss and Rosemary and thyme seeds. Additional elements such as Almond & Ashwagandha rocks and Rosemary and Ginger confit mini mushrooms enriched the sensory journey.
